We are a child-centered Early Childhood Development Centre rooted in Christian values — nurturing heart, mind, and body. Based at 85 Simon Mazorodze Road, Athlone, Gweru, our qualified educators deliver a warm, inclusive environment with structured play, early literacy & numeracy, music & movement, outdoor exploration, and social-emotional learning. We follow the ZIMSEC (Heritage-Based Curriculum) and Cambridge Checkpoint frameworks to prepare children for primary school and beyond.
To provide a loving, safe, and stimulating setting where every child builds confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning.
To accompany families through the foundational years — from preschool to primary — with joyful, holistic growth.
Faith • Care • Safety • Curiosity • Respect • Partnership with Parents.
A warm welcome from our founder, Miss Khumalo — the heart behind the name “Tender Touch”, chosen to reflect gentle guidance, wisdom, and unconditional love.
We began with just three children — the very first steps of our Tender Touch journey.
Now a lively community of 80+ little voices — learning, laughing, and shining together.
Ministry-approved with Toddlers, ECD A & ECD B (from 3 years, potty-trained), offering ZIMSEC & Cambridge Checkpoint foundations.
An additional block with 3 classrooms and a dedicated Computer Room to spark digital literacy.
Our bold next step — extending Tender Touch care and learning into early primary.
We support Rosedale Children's Home and celebrate together at Sports Day, Christmas Family Fun Day & Carols, and enriching learning trips.
“Train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” — Proverbs 22:6
